🐦🎨 Getting Creative for Our Garden! 🌸

Our residents have been getting creative this week, painting and decorating some lovely birdhouses for our garden! 🏡🐦

Everyone enjoyed choosing their colours and adding their own personal touches, making each birdhouse unique. It was wonderful to see our residents working together, sharing ideas and enjoying a fun, meaningful activity.

We can’t wait to put our colourful birdhouses out in the garden and hopefully welcome some feathered visitors! 🌿💚

🧁 Baking Club 🧁

Our residents love a bit of baking and for many of the ladies it brings back familiar memories of regularly making cakes and other delicious foods at home. This week they baked some yummy cupcakes which were then enjoyed with supper 😋🧁

🌟 Last Week at Heathfield 🌟

🔹 Doris had a lovely time looking at animal cards with carers Ami and Justina 🥰
🔹️ We have enjoyed another fun afternoon dancing with Just Dance Fit with Berenice having a wonderful sing-a-long and boogie 💃🏼🎶
🔹️ Greta has been looking fabulous in her sunnies 😎
🔹️ Emerald Suite have been challenging their minds and dexterity with some challenges to pair up the coloured pegs on the blankets 🧠🤔
🔹️ Diamond Suite played some ping pong ball games 🟢🟡🔵
🔹️ Residents have enjoyed more relaxing Namaste sessions 🪷
🔹️ Boni had a go at hook a duck and said it was harder than it looks! 🦆
🔹️ Gardening club tidied up some of our pots and planted some lovely sweet pepper plants that have been kindly donated to us 👨‍🌾🌱🫑
🔹️ Ladies have been playing card games in our sunny garden 🃏☀️
🔹️ Emerald and Diamond Suites had a go at some target games trying to throw the ball into the box ⚾️ and beanbags onto the target 🎯
🔹️ We had a go at some matching games trying to pair up cards and test our memories 🤔
🔹️ Marjorie and senior carer Yami have been playing noughts and crosses ❌️⭕️
🔹️ The Heathfield Gents have spent an afternoon in the garden enjoying drinks, a good chat and listening to some favourite tunes 🎶🍻
🔹️ We made some delicious healthy fruit skewers to enjoy for a mid morning snack 😋🥝🍎🍊🍐🍑
